Limit Switch LKM436 for RTD's
The LKM436 is a digital, programmable temperature switch for mounting on the standard rail and can be set for various resistance sensors according to DIN EN 60751. When the switching point is reached, a potential-free change-over contact relay switches. Two LEDs additionally display the operating status and the switching status optically.It can be used in two operating modes:
- Safety shutdown switch - In this case, the self-locking function is activated, and the relay is reset exclusively by switching the "Clear" input to "GND". Optionally, the relay can also be reset with a pushbutton mounted in the cover. The set hysteresis has no influence on the switching behavior.
- Temperature controller - The self-locking function is deactivated. As soon as the set value of the hysteresis is reached, the relay is reset. Resetting with "Clear" against "GND" is not possible.
The lead resistance of the two-wire circuit can be compensated on site with the setting controller. In addition, an offset can be set via software.
Ordering options:
1. Custom configuration:
In the online shop, the LKM436 is configured using selection variants. A selection is required in order to place the item in the shopping cart. The parameter settings can be adjusted later.
The setpoint must lie within the permissible measurement range of the selected sensor. If latching is deactivated, the hysteresis must also lie within this range. If latching is activated, the switching hysteresis is not evaluated.
2. Standard configuration for manual orders:
Orders placed outside the online shop, for example by e-mail, are supplied with the following default settings, unless other parameters are specified:- Input: Pt100
- Latching: deactivated
- Setpoint: +100.0 °C
- Hysteresis: 3.0 °C
An evaluation from 0 to 4kΩ is possible on request.
An evaluation of thermocouples is possible with our LKM437.
