DTM5081 – Temperature Acquisition Module
The DTM5081 temperature acquisition module enables precise temperature measurements via two independent input channels and is connected to a Windows PC via mini-USB.
- Channel 1 is designed for RTD probes such as Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000 and other types up to 2.1 kΩ. The 4-wire technology ensures high overall accuracy. This applies in particular when using high-quality probes.
- Channel 2 is specially designed for thermocouples. A universal miniature thermocouple socket allows the connection of various thermocouple types. The internal cold junction compensation ensures reliable measured values.
The DTM5081 provides a resolution of 0.01 °C and outputs the temperature or resistance value directly. Thanks to the galvanic isolation of the sensor connection, interference-free measurements are possible, especially with thermocouples.
The associated data acquisition software is available free of charge in the “Downloads” section. It allows the recording and storage of measurement data.
Communication takes place via simple ASCII commands, making the module easy to integrate into your own programs (e.g. in C or Visual Basic). The installation of a device driver is required for operation.
