DTM5081 – Temperature Acquisition Module
The DTM5081 temperature acquisition module connects to a computer via a mini-USB cable. It features two channels: one channel is designed for temperature resistance sensors such as Pt100/1000, Ni100/1000, and other resistance sensors up to 2.1kΩ, while the second channel is specifically for thermocouples. Developed for precise measurements across a wide temperature range, the module offers high overall accuracy for temperature resistance sensors, especially when used with high-quality sensors, thanks to its 4-wire technology. For the thermocouple channel, internal cold junction compensation is provided, and a universal miniature thermocouple socket allows the use of various thermocouple types.
The DTM5081 offers a resolution of 0.01°C and outputs the measured temperature or resistance value. The input side is galvanically isolated from the output side, providing additional safety. The accompanying data acquisition software is available for free in the "Downloads" tab and allows for recording and storing of measurement data. The module is controlled via simple ASCII commands, making integration into programming languages like C or Visual Basic easy. The device stands out for its high accuracy and user-friendly handling.
